The goal of our legal services is to “Administer Justice by serving the legal needs of low-income families through educational outreach, legal clinics, and representation, as a way of demonstrating God’s mercy and compassion to those in need.”

Administer Justice provides representation for those who are income-qualified who live in Kane and Mc Henry County on an availability basis. Most of this representation is provided by high quality volunteer attorneys engaged in private practice who work with Administer Justice to help make equal access to justice a reality for all.
The volunteer attorneys and other professionals of Administer Justice have a primary interest in the least disruptive and most conciliatory resolution of legal issues.
Thus, as stated in our legal position sheets, "Every mediation of a divorce will first seek to reconcile the relationship" .
In bankruptcy cases, "Administer Justice will recommend financial counseling to anyone requesting bankruptcy".
In criminal cases, " Any individual counseled on criminal matters will be encouraged to take responsibility for any wrong they may have committed and to provide appropriate restitution to their victim".
In lawsuits, "In every appropriate case, mediation or arbitration will be recommended over litigation."
