Low Income Tax Assistance (LITC)

In addition to financial budget counseling, Administer Justice provides tax counseling through a low income taxpayer clinic program.

This educational program is designed to help low income taxpayers understand their rights and obligations under our complicated tax code.

Understanding important issues like the earned income tax credit, child tax credit, dependency issues, the benefits of filing and issues such as filing with an individual taxpayer identification number, all help low income individuals receive the maximum refund to which they are entitled which can make a big difference for families in need.
